Resistance Blocks Our Natural Flow

Is it healthy to resist less or more? Ever noticed the more you resist, the bigger it gets? Resistance stops the natural flow, keeping us tied to what we want to avoid.

When you resist a fear, thought, or practice, do you notice how it gains power? I saw a boy’s tantrum grow as his parents ignored him. The more you fight, the stronger it becomes.

Is there another way? Many of us find it when we unlearn judgment. What if we observe calmly and let it recede? Natural flow helps you detach emotionally.

With resistance acknowledged, what choices do you have? Understand it and choose to move on. Resistance is a losing battle. Only by seeing it can you address it.

Does suppressing emotions build tension that eventually explodes? Have that difficult conversation. Speak your truth. Maybe the relationship heals, maybe it ends, but resistance only prolongs the inevitable.

Does ignoring anger let it simmer? Talking and honesty are some of the most untapped resources we have access to; what if we resist less? Holding onto anger, resentment, or fear weighs you down and makes you ill. As fast as we get heated and sparked, can we forgive, learn, move on?

How does stopping resistance free up mental space for what truly matters? Maybe by being proactive, not reactive. Shine a light on your unconscious, work through it, and choose healthier coping mechanisms.

Letting go of resistance shows things as they are, not as you fear. Action over avoidance opens new possibilities. When you feel the urge to resist, ask, “Is this healthy or unhealthy?” The ride may become bumpy when it flows. But maybe these are healthy bumps to keep it real.
