Our attitude sets the stage for how we show up in life. We can get up in the morning and think we haven’t had enough sleep. We can end our day by believing we didn’t achieve anything.
But what we are telling ourselves is that there is some bar that we need to compare ourselves to be whole. We can also choose to take a nap and create our own rhythm for our day. And we can always create a fresh attitude.
When we only see problems, we only see problems. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We have choices to make. Isn’t now a great time to become aware of our thinking so that it supports us and opens opportunities?
Too often, we may be attached to a story that tells us there is no point in trying. There is a host of reasons we come up with in these stories on why we can’t. We may believe that we are not talented enough, courageous enough, have enough or experienced enough.
But what happens when we start asking ourselves questions that make these beliefs irrelevant? What if we asked, why can we instead of telling ourselves why we can’t?
Whatever we want to explore—big and small—all depends on our attitude. Maybe now is the perfect time to experiment and release ourselves to trek into the unknown?
The next chapter has arrived and it all relies on our state of mind, attitude and willingness to open ourselves up to our hearts. And it’s different for each of us.
Why survive, when we can thrive? Every day is a new beginning that also has endings of what we choose to let go.
