This week I noticed a tweet exchange with Elon Musk and Investment Advisor Ross Gerber. Mr. Gerber doesn’t like how Tesla stock is going down and has ideas to fix it. Elon Musk feels that interest rates are what’s driving market action.
So now that we know what Ross would do to right the ship, let’s see what Elon thinks is the Prime Mover of Tesla stock action.
To my way of thinking, Elon is correct. I call him Elon because we are on a first name basis, of course. You should probably continue to call him Mr. Musk.
Humans can and should always go for the easy money. The highest return with the least risk. And when interest rates on bonds are high enough, the stock market will look like a fools errand.
