June is flying by, and with the second half of the year approaching, I want to have a conversation about the difference between being the best and being the biggest in our profession.
For many years, I was obsessed with making my coaching firm the largest, constantly comparing myself to others and feeling inadequate if I wasn't on top.
Last summer, I realized the importance of focusing on being the best instead, which lifted a huge weight off my shoulders and allowed me to drive the most impact and value for my clients without worrying about things I could not control.
In this episode, I discussed the following:
- 03:39) Why making it on the top list does not dictate your value as an advisor
- (07:29) What happens when you strive to be the best?
- (09:54) The problem with pursuing more knowledge
- (10:10) The beauty of committing to being the best
- (11:10) My only mission as a coach
