Why Financial Advisors Fail To Grow

As we venture into the year's final month, I'd like to delve into a question raised during our recent strategic planning event: Why don't advisors continue to grow?

For as long as I've been in this game, success has always been measured by the numbers you produce. There was something magical about going from six figures to seven figures. Thirty years later, I don't think that's a good benchmark anymore.

The reality is that to ascend the success ladder, you need to evolve at each level. And as an advisor, you genuinely need to consider whether you're getting better and growing each step of the way.

In this episode, I talked about:

  • (05:16) An advisor's kryptonite to growth
  • (08:44) How you're unconsciously sabotaging your growth
  • (10:04) Why you need to lean into being uncomfortable
  • (12:26) Why I want you to commit 2024 to be an uncomfortable year
