"In one of your recent training on the Power of Your Subconscious Mind, you shared how critical mastering the inner game is to achieving amazing results."
I have been working on my inner game and foundation and have already seen some results. I was wondering if you have more insight on the power of your subconscious mind.”Great question. Your mind is like a computer. Stored within it is an operating system with numerous files. The files you are actively using and aware of are part of your conscious mind. This part of your mind is logical and the voice of reason. Your conscious mind controls the actions you take. It also is the gate keeper or entrance to your mind.
The information & files that you have stored in your computer but are not in use are in your subconscious mind. Many experts believe our subconscious mind controls over 90% of what we do and how we show up.In fact, Dr. Bruce Lipton at Stanford University Medical Center is an expert on the Power of Your Subconscious Mind. He provides valuable insight, “Most people don’t even acknowledge that their subconscious mind is at play when the fact is it is a million times more powerful than the conscious mind and that we operate 95 to 99 percent of our lives from subconscious programs…”Your subconscious mind is responsible for the involuntary actions you take such as breathing without being conscious of it or driving to work and not even remembering the journey. Your emotions, beliefs and memories are stored in your subconscious mind.Your subconscious mind is subjective and follows the instructions it is given. The subconscious mind lacks reasoning, logic or rationalization. It is a creature of habit and repetition.
Mastering the power of your subconscious mind requires two essential files – your habits and your worth barometer (beliefs and self-esteem). All of your files (including communication skills, knowledge etc.) were created by the information you have learned and experienced from all the people who have influenced your life. These files determine how we show up, what we do and what we won’t do. The results we are getting are a direct result of the people who have influenced us including our parents, teachers, managers, colleagues etc. If they have provided us the right information, we will have the files we need to achieve our goal. If not, the critical files we need may be missing or even corrupt (kind of like when your computer gets a virus). The quickest method to determine if you have the files you need is to review the results you are getting.Harv Eker, author of the New York Times Bestseller ‘Secrets of The Millionaire Mind’, says “It all comes down to this: if your subconscious ‘ blueprint’ is not ‘set’ for success, nothing you learn, nothing you know and nothing you do will make much of a difference… By changing your subconscious programming, you take the first essential step to changing your results.”

Sometimes the files in our computer are not corrupt but simply missing (we have not learned or experienced the information we need to access to get our desired result). No matter how much we want a certain result or our computer to function correctly, if it is missing files or has a virus, it can’t until the required files are created or repaired. For example, if we have a belief that we are not qualified to serve affluent clients or do not have what it takes to become a top producer or even to become a multi-millionaire, we won’t be able to, regardless of how hard we want to achieve it. We can’t make it a reality because we don’t have the file in our brain to achieve it.Top producers & multi-millionaires have different files in their brain than their less successful counter parts. They have a belief file that they can become a top producer, double their revenue, achieve their goal, etc. Contained in their files is an action file that causes them to the action that is required to become a top financial advisor or entrepreneur, generate the revenue they desire and ultimately get the result they desire.
Their less successful counter parts do not believe it is possible (because they do not have the worth barometer, belief or habit file that supports that goal). Without the files needed to achieve success, advisors spend their valuable time on LVFDAs (low value fixed daily activities) that keep them stuck. Because they are not even aware that the problem is in the filing system of their brain, they don’t seek out the coaches or mentors who are qualified to provide them the insight they need to achieve their desired goal.Replacing or repairing your files requires new information. The first place to begin is to determine where you are getting your information. Do your mentors, managers and colleagues understand how the brain operates as well as how to create, tap into the files and take the actions required to achieve your goal? If yes, then great. If no, then you either need to accept your results or find someone who is better equipped to assist you. Until then, identify the files that you need to upgrade or change in your computer so you can get the results you desire.
