I don’t know anyone who likes having a bad day. But we all have one occasionally. So, turn those lousy days to your advantage.
- Get some perspective so a bad day doesn’t overcome you. Review what went wrong and realize it’s not the end of the world.
- Learn from what went wrong. Figure out how to do it better next time so you’ll be better prepared and less likely to repeat that bad experience.
- Take action. Don’t stop at just thinking about what went wrong – determine the next steps if something like that happens again and then make sure you have what you need to execute on Plan B when you’re in similar circumstances in the future.
