Prior, he served as global Content Director at CFA Institute. Previously Jason was co-Portfolio Manager of the Davis Appreciation & Income Fund, which during his tenure bested the S&P 500 by 49.1%, was a Lipper #1 fund, and was one of Morningstar’s first 10 funds awarded Stewardship Grade “A.” He is the author of multiple books, including Return of the Active Manager, The Intuitive Investor, and Valuation Techniques: Discounted Cash Flow, Earnings Quality, Measures of Value Added, and Real Options. Jason is a frequent writer and speaker about how active investment managers may improve their performance. Voss has published research in multiple journals, including the Journal of Private Equity, the Journal of Behavioral Finance, and the Swiss accounting journal, IRZ. Research interests include: financial statement analysis; geopolitics; intuition; lie detection; and meditation.
