From Invisible to Irresistible: Building a Content Flywheel That Drives Results

When I look out over LinkedIn, I see many people posting content. The content gets very little engagement and therefore little return in terms of $s.

On the calls I have with LinkedIn many creators blame this on the algorithm.

When in fact our success in content is down to us.

So how can you get more engagement with your content?

First of all, don't give up this is about creating a virtuous circle or flywheel.

Then you need to post content that is insightful.

Ask yourself the question “will somebody learn from this post?”

If the answer is “yes” then you are on the right track.

Next you need to connect to people, who you would like to read your content.

Don't forget, don't be spammy, be interested in them, it's not about you.

Make sure your profile is “buyer-centric” so when people check you out.

They will want to connect with you.

And finally, don't be an island, go out and comment on other people's content.

Be supportive, be encouraging, be the person filled with positive energy.

This is how you create a content flywheel.

And finally, don't be scared of making a mistake.

Nobody cares, in fact mistakes are human, I have learned to embrace my typos.

You should too.
